Sophie came down to the Southern Highlands to see me with her sister and Mother with only a few weeks (ahhhhhh!) to go before the wedding booked at Bendooley Estate, Berrima. The brief was so simple and joyous it made my heart leap. Spring colour in all its abundance and bright beauty.
We went to town with all the pretties...mock orange, roses, sweet pea, foxglove, peony, poppy, blushing bride, berry, flannel flower, carnation and camomile daisy. The palette went from white and blush pink/apricot through to bright coral, raspberry and deep plum all balanced with nudes, caramel and greens, such a stunning riot and mad palette that absolutely sang out 'I Do!' 'I Do', 'I Do'! So Sophie and Paddy did and I am so glad I got to be part of the team.
Canopy dressing in the ceiling of the Bendooley Bookbarn, a hanging garden of creeping roses, peony, maple, pittostrom, oak and hydrangea all flowing down to meet the wedding guests. Clustered bottles filled with individual bright blooms to anchor the colour onto the tables.
Mad Hatters being truly themselves at Bendooley Estate, Berrima Southern Highlands NSW. Sophie & Paddy were married on the 30th October 2015 at Bendooley Estate.
