-Janelle Harvey, Bride
I first met Janelle and Mark at Peppers Manor House in Sutton Forest. Janelle already had a very clear concept of what she wanted from the beginning in style, to colour palette and a brief that outlined the day perfectly. She could convey what she had dreamt up and had almost done my job for me! I loved that they both knew exactly what they wanted and was really touched that they felt excited and trusting that I would deliver the brief.
We revelled in all the beautiful jewelled tones, garnet, plum, black, raspberry and then balanced them out with sweet and sour tones in the greenery, and a muddy ivory and fawn that lightened the mix so it wasn't too heavy.
Janelle made this beautiful wooden ceremony signage and now has an Etsy shop, The Design Principal, where couples can order their own bespoke signage for their big day. Follow Janelle on Instagram under thedesignprincipal .
Stunning and delicious semi naked cake made by Kashaya & Co(Sydney) and was so much fun to decorate.
We broke away from the colour palette in Katers Restaurant where the reception was held, just focussing on white, ivory, green, chocolate and tan and relaxing the style to still life with tapered candles and tea light votives. The glass footed bowls kept the centrepiece light and allowed the floral to cascade out towards the guests.
All these stunning shots were taken by the very talented Joseph Sarkodie from Sarkodie Photography. Mark & Janelle were married at The Manor House, Mt Broughton, Sutton Forest on the 12th January 2016
